 Testimonials

"I am so grateful to have attended James and Ali's first Remedy Retreat. A great deal of energy and thought went into the smallest details, they also provided us with the perfect balance of activities and downtime. The food was delicious, the house was amazing and they had even gone so far as to curate a selection of books for us to read. James's extensive experience in the entertainment industry has served him well in helping coaching others in building confidence and self esteem. His workouts were pretty fun too! Ali has the magical quality of making you feel that you are truly the only person in the room and you really felt listened to and valued. At one point I confided in her about feeling uncomfortable about my body and she was so reassuring and loving as well as providing pragmatic advice. Ali and James are not only professional, well informed on health and well being but also very kind and funny people! Ali is an absolutely brilliant yoga teacher, I work in the Yoga industry and I can honestly say that she is one of the best teachers I have come across. I look forward to attending other fun events organised by this magical team and I wish them all the very best.  Love Annie"

"I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the retreat this weekend. It was a lovely balance of relaxation, mindfulness and yoga, which I throughly enjoyed."

- Julie, London June Retreat 2018

"A little haven right in London. The retreat offered us a wonderful and restorative break - all of us achieved so much. The yoga was excellent and Ali created flows that guided us through the weekend perfectly - from waking and centering us all, to gently preparing us for a night of wonderful and blissful rest.

The food was lovingly prepared, filling and creative - with it, the feeling of being cared for, with the bliss of food and company - like dinner at your dearest friends home. Well as long as that friend is a hot shot vegan chef!

The venue and setting were idilic. So thoughtfully presented and well maintained. All the little touches one needs to feel at home while away. It very much gave the weekend a sense of being in the loving care of a family.  Having a house not a hotel gave us time and space to socialise and find solitude as needed, really adding to the experience of care and compassion.

This was a very different experience form other workshops and retreats as it truly felt as though it was constructed around the people. It was well structured and really focused on restoration of the whole person with a deeper context of wellbeing, self care and health. With really manageable take homes and home guides from recipes to workouts, meaning the retreat extends home with you in genuinely manageable ways and not unrealistic expectations. You felt warmth love and care from the first second you arrived to the moment you left. It's hard to put in to words how caring the space felt."
